Livestock Shipping Schedule

We ship Tuesdays through Thursdays for next day deliveries via FedEx Overnight Priority Mail or FedEx Ground for local orders.  All orders will receive a follow up email asking which day the customer would prefer to receive the package.  We have the right to delay the shipping of any order due to weather conditions and will notify the customer if the conditions are not deemed acceptable for shipping.

Dry Good Shipping Schedule

We ship Mondays through Fridays.

Shipping and Rates:

We send livestock everywhere for the same rate regardless of zip code.  We ship livestock to the 48 contiguous states. There is a flat rate of $34.99 for shipping livestock.  Livestock is shipped FedEx Priority Overnight for non-local orders and FedEx Ground for local shipments. There is a $75 minimum on livestock orders.  Livestock and dry goods are considered separate for shipping and will have their own shipping cost.

Any dry goods ordered at the same time will have a standard shipping cost.

There are no box charges for any livestock shipment.

Arrive alive guarantee does not apply to second day packages.

3 Day Live Arrive Guarantee

All corals come with a 3 day arrive alive guarantee unless otherwise marked on the product info page.  Our aquacultured corals are much hardier than wild caught specimens so D.O.A's are rare, but there is always a risk when shipping live animals.  This guarantee is only valid with overnight shipping.  Second day or priority USPS mail packages are not covered.

To be covered by our guarantee and DOA policy:

1:  You must sign for the shipment on the first delivery attempt.
2: If the FedEx shipment is held for pickup, you must pick it up in a timely manner (within 3 hours).
3:  If any items are DOA or badly damaged, you must inform us BY EMAIL within 12 hours of arrival and send us pictures within 24 hours of arrival. 

4: Pictures must be received of the dead animals within the guarantee period.

5: The customers tank is a proper and established environment.
6: You have followed our acclimation procedure.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE POLICIES.

Credits will be applied in the following ways

- We do not issue refunds in cash or to debit or credit cards.

- Credit amount will be minus the cost of shipping.
- If you do have a loss within the guarantee period your item will be replaced with the same item on your next order.  If a replacement cannot be provided, we will give you an in-store livestock credit for the value of the coral or fish that died on the next order.
- Any credit given will not apply to any minimum order totals on your next purchase.

- DOA claims are strictly at the discretion of fishnreef and all decisions about replacements and validity of claims will be made by fishnreef.
